An-Najah News - The Deanship of Student Affairs and the Business Innovation and Partnership Center (NaBIC) at An-Najah National University organized a training program for women's empowerment.

As part of the activities of the joint campaign to combat violence against girls and ‎‎women which is launched by the University's Deanship of Students Affairs to mark the 16 ‎days of activism against gender-based violence in Palestine. ‎

The program targets women who have been beneficiaries of the "Let's Start-Up" Project, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and EducAid Foundation. It aims to empower women with special needs or mothers of children with special needs.

The training program was given by Mrs. Faten Abu Zarour, Social Counselor at the Deanship of Student Affairs. The training included several activities which helped women release blocked energies resulting from the economic downturn during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and helped the participants develop more positive attitudes about themselves. The participants learned several healthy ways, coping strategies, and self-help tools that can help them manage stress reactions and cope with family stress.
