An-Najah News - The Israeli Defense Minister, Naftali Bennett, approved today, Wednesday, the construction of thousands of settlement housing units in the Efrat settlement in the occupied West Bank.

The Walla Al-Abri website stated that this decision allows the Israeli Ministry of Settlement to build about 7,000 housing units in this settlement located on the lands of Bethlehem

Bennett commented on this decision, saying: “We should not stop building operations for a moment.”

A few days ago, Bennett had definitively approved a settlement project in the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank, which includes confiscating Palestinian lands in Hebron to construct a road that enables Israeli settlers and Jewish extremists to storm the Ibrahimi Mosque, as well as the establishment of an elevator for them
