An-Najah News - Nablus - The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Saeb Erekat stressed the steadfast stance of the Palestinian National Authority and its rejection of "American-Israeli" plans to annex Palestinian lands, stressing on the authority's refusal to move to a service authority in accordance with the approach of the Israeli occupation.

 

In a statement to Al-Najah TV, he stressed that the discussion does not revolve around the possibility of postponing the annexation plans that were approved by Trump's Netanyahu agreement today 1st of July, and considered them as tactics and trickery games by the Israeli and American sides.

 

On the international situation, Erekat stressed the PLO's continuous efforts to raise the international position, saying: "We now have 192 opposition countries and we wanted these countries to add one principle to all what they said by showing their refusal to the occupation in clear and deterrent terms. It happened from some and did not from others."

 

He stressed, "We will not sit at the negotiating table where the Annexation plan or Trump's plan is proposed," noting that it is not a plan, but a project to legitimize the occupation of the Palestinian territories.
