An-Najah News - Spanish media have reported that Diego Maradona, the world soccer legend, may be assigned to oversee the training of the Spanish national football team.

 

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" quoted a report broadcast by BETEVÉ, in which it was stated that there is an unspoken agreement to assign the task of leading the "Matador" team to the World Cup 2022 to Maradona.

 

The report also stated that Torres, who describes himself as a great fan of Argentine, had already been negotiated with Maradona's lawyer over the past three weeks on a two-year contract.

 

If he wins in the election of the Spanish Football Federation, Antonio Torres will call the Argentine legend, 58, for this task.

 

Maradona's main mission will be to reach the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

 

It is noteworthy that the date of the elections for the Presidency of the Spanish Federation, has been postponed at upon the request of the Administrative Court of Sports, as it was scheduled to be held on August 17.
